The principal was the late Richard H. M. Maidman, esq., who was a major New York City landlord. Because of Mr. N. S. Rothenberg experience in gut rehabilitation and renovation of hotels Mr. N. S. Rothenberg was asked to be a consultant and involved with configuring the project, laying out the rooms and public space, developing a sales and marketing plan, management and operations, etc.. It was a ground up construction and combined a long term stay hotel on the bottom with a condo development on top.
