Mr. N. S. Rothenberg was the owner, developer, general contractor and operator.

This was a 650 acre, 400 room hotel, with an additional 100 cottages, with 300,000 ft of public space, a golf course, indoor and outdoor Olympic size pools, eight tennis courts and a large lake, Prior to Mr. N. S. Rothenberg ownership, the hotel had a major fire and was closed for five years. Mr. N. S. Rothenberg bought it from Ulster County which had taken back the property from the prior owner as a result of a tax lien for failure to pay real estate taxes. Mr. N. S. Rothenberg completely redesigned and gut renovated the entire property and its infrastructure. Mr. N. S. Rothenberg successfully reopened and operated the entire hotel along with all its amenities.
